The principal Physiotherapist, Simran specialises in chronic pain management by using this unique holistic approach. Hands on treatment such as massage, dry needling, ultrasound, stretches are often to provide effective pain relief. Strengthening and muscle activation exercises specific to the individual are added to address any muscle imbalances. Mindfulness strategies such as breath awareness, essential oils, meditations may be combined within the sessions to reduce any stress, anxiety or depression which may be present.
Simran is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA), and has more than 12 years of experience in musculoskeletal, pilates, rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurology and aged care. Simran graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a double qualification of Physiotherapy and Ergonomics. Simran completed a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Swinburne University to add further to her skill set. In addition, Simran is also a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia. Simran has been using this unique approach to treat a wide number of conditions with exceptional results and has a special interest in chronic pain. Simran also works at other locations in Rivervale and Canningvale alongside medical practitioners and other allied health staff.
